Inconsistent dates
[edit]There seems to be an inconsistency, or lack of explanation, of whether this British colony commenced in 1916, or 1919, or 1922.Eregli bob (talk) 16:26, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- ---administered by the United Kingdom from 1916 until 1961. --Dthomsen8 (talk) 14:17, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
There's a gap in the territory's monarch from 1936-1952. Is there a reason behind this? --99.48.180.18 (talk) 20:53, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
Etymology
[edit]The explanation of the name Tanganyika is not correct; the name has been available from 1876 for the lake in the West, and Stanley did invest some time to find out its meaning; it has definitively nothing to do with the town of Tanga. Kipala (talk) 08:38, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
Grammar
[edit]The history section is badly written and should be thoroughly reviewed. 2A02:1810:1D02:CF00:3088:E915:3F5E:8DC3 (talk) 11:16, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
